Mirau

Mirau is a visual identity project developed for a Sardinian gin designed to pair with Sabori’s pane carasau, a traditional thin and crispy Sardinian flatbread, combining local heritage with a contemporary product experience. Created as a complementary product to another branding project developed for Sabori, the concept strengthens the connection between contemporary design and Sardinian food culture. The name draws from the Sardinian expression meaning “to admire,” evoking a sense of discovery and appreciation. It reflects both the cultural richness of the island and the idea of viewing tradition through a new perspective. The visual identity translates this concept into a fresh and contemporary visual language, balancing elegance and lightness while maintaining a strong connection to Sardinian roots.
